Discover the best champion compositions to succeed in TeamFight Tactics ( TFT ) with the 3 Galaxies SetThere are several possible combinations due to the number of different champions, origins, and classes, but there are always some builds that are better than others! The ones we show you in this guide are not the only ones, because it all depends on how the game unfolds.

We share 5 recommended TFT combos, with the champions involved and the synergies they complete. In addition, we have some indications to take better advantage of each composition with the key pieces of Set 3.

Note: Numbers in parentheses, like Fiora's (1), indicate the champion's cost.

Composition 1: Cybernetics + Swordsmen

Cybernetic Swordsmen Chronos Gunners TFT Composition Set 3

Champions that make up the composition:

  • 6 Cybernetics : Fiora (1), Ekko (5), Leona (1), Lucian (2), Irelia (4), and Vi (3).
  • 3 Espadachines : Fiora (1), Shen (2), and Irelia (4).
  • 2 Chronos : Ezreal (3) and Shen (2).
  • 2 Gunners : Lucian (2) and Ezreal (3).

Brief description of the synergies of the composition:

  • Cybernetic Origin: With 6 Cybernetics, all of them that have at least one item get a good sum of life and physical damage.
  • Swordsman Class: With 3 Swordsmen, there is a small chance to make two additional attacks on the same target, with the same base damage and attack effects.
  • Chrono Origin: With 2 Chronos, all allies receive a slight increase in attack speed every 4 seconds.
  • Gunner Class: With 2 Gunners, they can attack an additional three times every fourth attack, with the same damage and effects as basic attacks.

Comp Strategy :

  1. The main focus of this build is to empower Irelia with items like the Infinity Edge or Guardian Angel. Until you get here, make sure you get Fiora, Leona, and Lucian to start with and give the latter an item.
  2. Keep Lucian (early) and Irelia (mid and late game) protected. Try to position Leona and Shen in a way that they attract enemy attacks. Also, put Vi in "protector" as soon as you get her.
  3. While they're not cybernetic, try adding Ezreal and Shen mid-game so they, along with Lucian, complete the first level of synergy for both Chrono and Gunner. Bonuses will be noticed!
  4. Ekko is a good addition to the build, but due to its cost, focus on the above points first. If in the last rounds of the game you have a good economy, it's time to recruit him for the synergy of 6 Cybernetics!

Composition 2: Dark Star

Composition Dark Star Celestial Mystic Sorcerers TFT Set 3

Champions that make up the composition:

  • 6 Dark Star : Shaco (3), Xerath (5), Karma (3), Jhin (4), Lux (3), and Mordekaiser (2).
  • 2 Celestials : Ashe (3) and Lulu (5).
  • 2 Mystics : Karma (3) and Lulu (5).
  • 2 Sorcerers : Lux (3) and Xerath (5).

Brief description of the synergies of the composition:

  • Dark Star Origin : With 6 Dark Stars, every time a unit of said origin dies, the rest get a nice bonus in physical and magical damage.
  • Celestial Origin : With 2 Celestials, all allies are healed for a small percentage of the damage dealt with enemies, either with basic attacks or abilities.
  • Mystic Class – With 2 Mystics, all allies gain small magic resist bonus.
  • Sorcerer Class : With 2 Sorcerers, all allies gain a small bonus to magic damage.

Comp Strategy :

  1. It is essential that the items are addressed to both Shaco and Jhin. Due to the damage and healing bonuses per attack (from synergies), it's important to give them an Infinity Edge or Runaan's Hurricane. In addition, whichever of the two you manage to level up before, a Guardian Angel or Sash is recommended.
  2. If you manage to make a Herald of Zeke as an item, put Shaco, Jhin, and Xerath (if you make it) together in a row and give the item to the one in the middle of the three. All three will greatly benefit from the attack speed bonus.
  3. As for the rest of the units, you can spread them around the board a bit, but always with Mordekaiser as the front line.
  4. Recruiting Xerath as soon as you can is recommended, but if the remaining opponents have a lot of magic damage, it can be good to prioritize Lulu.

Composition 3: Infiltrators + Mechapilots

Composition Infiltrators Mechapilotos Valkyries Wizards TFT Set 3

Champions that make up the composition:

  • 4 Departed : Fizz (4), Shaco (3), Kai'Sa (2), and Ekko (5).
  • 3 Mechapilots : Annie (2), Rumble (3), and Fizz (4).
  • 2 Valkyries : Kai'Sa (2) and Kayle (4).
  • 2 Wizards : Annie (2) and Lux (3).

Brief description of the synergies of the composition:

  • Infiltrator Class – With 4 Infiltrators, all units belonging to the same class get a nice bonus to attack speed in the first 6 seconds of the match. This bonus is reapplied if the Infiltrator eliminates a unit.
  • Mechapilot Origin: With 3 Mechapilots in play, the three merge into a Super Mecha that combines the life and attributes of the Mechapilots. If the Mechapilots have items, the Super Mecha will choose three at random (or fewer if the carriers have less than 3 total). When the Super Mecha is destroyed, the Mecha Pilots continue to fight.
  • Valkyrie Origin: With 2 Valkyries in play, their attacks will always critically hit enemy units with less than 50% health.
  • Sorcerer Class: With 2 Sorcerers, all allies gain a small bonus to magic damage.

Comp Strategy :

  1. Level up Annie, Rumble, and Kai'Sa. Placing resistance and damage items on Rumble or Annie, and Fizz to a lesser extent is crucial. This will make the Super Mecha much stronger.
  2. Infiltrator and Mechapilot synergies are the most important here. Don't spend money on Kayle and Lux until you get those synergies first. However, if you find that you are going to have a hard time completing those synergies, it is good to recruit the two mentioned units to get the Valkyrie and Sorcerer bonus.
  3. Since Ekko costs 5, it is advisable to recruit Kha'Zix (1) first and trade him for Ekko as soon as you get a chance. Kha'Zix acts as a temporary replacement for the Infiltrator synergy.
  4. Although one might think that you should put the Departed in the front line or nearby, in order to take advantage of their synergy, don't do it! Always put the Mecha Pilots in front and let the enemy get close to your Infiltrators... if they can get past the Super Mecha!

Composition 4: Protectors + Mystics

Composition Celestial Mystic Protectors TFT Set 3

Champions that make up the composition:

  • 4 Protectors : Xin Zhao (2), Jarvan IV (1), Neeko (3), and Rakan (2).
  • 4 Mystics: Karma (3), Sona (2), Soraka (3), and Lulu (5).
  • 3 Celestials: Xin Zhao (2), Rakan (2), and Lulu (5).

Brief description of the synergies of the composition:

  • Protector Class – With 4 Protectors, the Protector unit that casts an ability gains a shield for four seconds. The amount of hit points on the shield is based on one-third of the Protector's maximum health.
  • Mystic Class – With 4 Mystics, all allies gain large magic resist bonus.
  • Celestial Origin: With 2 Celestials, all allies are healed for a small percentage of the damage dealt with enemies, either with basic attacks or abilities.

Comp Strategy :

  1. The importance of this composition lies in the Protectors and their shields. It's a pretty defensive build and it can't always work. To make the most of it, it is necessary to level up the Protectors, and especially give physical and magical defense items to Xin Zhao.
  2. The best form for this composition is Sona, Soraka, and Lulu behind; Xin Zhao, Jarvan IV, and Neeko in front. The rest should be placed between both lines of champions. However, don't hesitate to take a good look at what your opponents are doing in order to make the appropriate formation changes.
  3. You can place a Celestial Orb on a non-Celestial unit, to enjoy the next level of synergy. This way, you will have a composition with three synergies at the second level, and all allies will heal more for each attack or ability.

Composition 5: Chronos + Swordsmen

Composition Cronos Swordsmen Valkyries Gunners Mowers Mowers TFT Set 3

Champions that make up the composition:

  • 4 Cronos : Blitzcrank (2), Ezreal (3), Shen (2) y Thresh (5).
  • 4 Swordsmen : Kayle (4), Irelia (4), Shen (2), and Xayah (1).
  • 2 Valkyries : Kayle (4) and Miss Fortune (5).
  • 2 Gunners : Ezreal (3) and Miss Fortune (5).
  • 2 Mana Reapers : Irelia (4) and Thresh (5).

Brief description of the synergies of the composition:

  • Chrono Origin – At 4 Chronos, all allies receive a nice attack speed boost every 4 seconds.
  • Swordsman Class: With 3 Swordsmen, there is a small chance to make two additional attacks on the same target, with the same base damage and attack effects.
  • Valkyrie Origin: With 2 Valkyries in play, their attacks will always critically hit enemy units with less than 50% health.
  • Gunner Class: With 2 Gunners, they can attack an additional three times every fourth attack, with the same damage and effects as basic attacks.
  • Mana Reapers Class: With 2 Mana Reapers still in play, each attack on a given unit causes their ability's casting cost to be increased by 40%.

Comp Strategy :

  1. The star of the composition is Kayle. Buy it as soon as possible, level it up, place it at the back of the composition, and equip it with at least two of these four items: Guinsoo's Fury Blade, Statikk's Dagger, Rapid Fire Cannon, and Guardian Angel.
  2. Blitzcrank is good to have very close to Kayle, while Shen, Irelia, and Thresh form a solid front line.
  3. Until you can buy Thresh, it's helpful to recruit a Caitlyn to enjoy the Chrono Origin synergy bonus as soon as possible. It is your decision to keep Caitlyn on the board or sell her.
  4. Miss Fortune is a great addition for even more damaging power in this build. If you get a chance to add her to your lineup, take advantage of it and team her up with Kayle.
