Both cases work for any version of the game you have on your PC. They are two very easy, fast, and 100% reliable ways that, as an extra positive point, will not damage your save files. It's time to be another character in Minecraft!

1. Add a skin downloaded from the Internet

This is the most fun and surely the best method for every Minecraft player. You can search for a skin on the Internet and put it as your own in the game. To do this, there are several web pages dedicated to collecting appearances. One of the most complete is Skins 4 Minecraft.

The first thing you need to do is download the skin. It is an image in PNG format, otherwise, it will not work well. When you download it, the image will look warped, but that's normal. To use this image as a skin, you will need to install it.

Go to the official Minecraft page and log in with your account. Go to your profile and click on the Appearance button. There you will enter the page menu where you can change and update the appearance. You just have to find where you downloaded the image on your PC, hit "Upload", and you're ready to go!

Of course, it's a good idea to check to make sure the process worked. Enter the game, log in with your account and once you are in a game, press the F5 button and see how your character looks. If all went well, you will have new skin!

2. Activate a skin of the game itself
