Mario Kart Tour: How to Beat the "Eliminate 3 Pipes" Challenge

 Mario Kart Tour has arrived on smartphones and has already given many players enough headaches. The main reason for it? Failing to beat the "Eliminate 3 Pipes" challenge. It seems simple since it only asks you to destroy 3 pipes in a single run. However, you can get frustrated if you don't know how to do it right.

So that you do not have any more problems trying to overcome the challenge, we have prepared a quick tutorial. You will discover that it is really easy to destroy these pipes. You just have to choose the right character, the perfect circuit, and the special powers. It won't be your most fun game, but at least you'll be able to advance!

Delete 3 pipes? It's just what it sounds like: a boring challenge

Step 1 – Find a track with pipes

That may be pretty obvious, but it's true that not all players manage to find circuits with pipes. These items don't appear on every track, so we want to help you get on the right track. Fortunately, there is one in the first group of circuits!

The third track, called Circuit Mario 1, contains various pipes. What's more, all Mario Circuits have this element along the track. In any case, to overcome the challenge, all you have to do is choose one of these circuits, the one with which you feel most comfortable.

Step 2: Choose Peach or Toad

Some characters have more power slots than others on the roster. In this sense, both Peach and Toad are the best choices. The reason is that both can have up to 3 special powers at the same time. This is essential since you will need some specific powers to destroy all 3 pipes in a single run.

If you don't have these characters or don't like using them, that's okay! We recommend both of them for having those 3 slots for powers, but one that has 2 slots is already more than enough.

Step 3 – Stay behind in the race

In case you don't know, in Mario Kart, you can earn better power-ups from item boxes if you're in last place. Even so, remember that you cannot accelerate or brake, so there are some details that you must take into account in order to be the last.

The secret is this:

• Choose the 50 CC speed mode, so as not to go too fast.
• Do not touch the screen in the countdown before the start of the race. In this way, you will go out without turbo.
• Crash into walls, spin into them, run around spinning all the time... do whatever you need to do to slow down.

Step 4 – Stick with the Proper Powers

To destroy the pipes, you will need a lot of strength. There are 3 specific powers that are best for this purpose:

• Bowser's shell;
• giant mushroom; and
• 3 Super Horns.

The last one is the most difficult to achieve. You need to have all the spaces filled with the same power, which would allow you to blow up the pipes around you. If you get this combination, make sure you get in the middle of 2 or more pipes!

Bowser's Shell is a pretty useful item, but it can be a bit tricky to direct it into a pipe. The best power is the Giant Mushroom, as it will make your character bigger for a while. If you take advantage of it well, you can go through 3 pipes in a row, eliminating them as you go.

Once you have done that, you just have to finish the race in any position. The challenge stamp and rewards will be yours!
